Osoul organization for Economic and Sustainable Development held a meeting at its headquarters in coordination with the German Embassy and several private sector companies, including Sardar Company, Al-Omran Company, Al-Arab Electronic Payment Services, International Development, Bank, and Atlas Plast Company. The meeting aimed to discuss the challenges facing the private sector, as well as to review key developments in electronic payment, digital transformation, taxes, and the adaptation of certain regulations in Iraq.
Empowering the Private Sector and Enhancing the Business Environment
During the meeting, participants emphasized the importance of enhancing the role of the private sector in the Iraqi economy. Referring that some decisions in the past two years have been beneficial, also discussed the main challenges facing the business and investment environment, the necessity of emphasize the creation of a more flexible environment and stimulate economic growth.
