Osoul Organization participated in the discussions of the third session of the Iraqi Construction Council, represented by its Chairman, Eng. Khalid Al-Jaberi.
The session was chaired by Benkin Rikani, and featured intensive deliberations covering several key topics, including building permits and other related issues, with the participation of a number of officials and relevant stakeholders.

🔵 The session was chaired by Minister Benkin Rikani, who led the third meeting of the Iraqi Construction Council, with the attendance of several deputy ministers, advisors, director generals, representatives of unions and professional associations, members of the Advisory Board, and other concerned institutions.

🔵 The Council discussed the regulation of issuing building permits to preserve urban aesthetics, ensure sustainability, and prevent informal settlements. The recommendations prepared by the General Directorate of Municipalities were reviewed to ensure strict adherence to obtaining building permits for government projects prior to initiation.

🔵 The Council also reviewed the operational framework for technical codes and specifications, selected the head of the Codes Committee, and discussed choosing the heads of subcommittees within the Council’s structure. Additionally, the session included a review of the design submissions participating in the competition to select the official logo of the Iraqi Construction Council.
