The Private Sector Development Council held a consultative session chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, focusing on urgent issues facing the private sector, including documentation procedures, utility bill claims, and e-commerce regulations.
Engineer Khalid Al-Jaberi presented a detailed vision on entrepreneurship-related challenges and emphasized the importance of involving startups in policy discussions, based on a series of meetings with business owners.
Al-Jaberi also emphasized the importance of considering the needs of the entrepreneurial and youth sectors when drafting e-commerce regulations by the Ministry of Trade, stressing the necessity of involving target beneficiaries in the policy-making process.
The Council also approved launching a competition for its official logo and visual identity, with details to be announced soon Makers.iq.
