Global energy companies—among them Total, Petronas, and China Energy—are in attendance, alongside representatives from leading audit firms such as EY, KPMG, PwC and Deloitte.
‏The conference agenda covers a range of pivotal issues, most notably the challenges of implementing corporate income tax in the oil and gas sector and the means to address them in order to enhance the attractiveness of the business environment for this vital industry. It will also review global best practices and public–private coordination mechanisms aimed at achieving fiscal and tax sustainability that supports the growth of the oil industry and stimulates investment.
