Osoul Organization for Economic and Sustainable Development held an expanded dialogue session with His Excellency the Minister of Construction, Housing, Municipalities, and Public Works, attended by a select group of experts and representatives of local and international media.
The discussion addressed the key challenges faced by the ministry across different stages of project implementation and the mechanisms adopted to address them. It also reviewed the economic impact of these projects, particularly in generating building materials factories and enhancing human resource efficiency through training engineers and developing their skills.
The dialogue further touched on the restructuring of staff within the Civil Aviation Authority, the preparation of new regulatory instructions for the authority the first of their kind as well as an explanation of the steps to merge four public companies within a reform pathway aimed at strengthening institutional efficiency and improving performance.
The session emphasized the importance of public–private sector partnership and the role of professional and media dialogue in supporting reform pathways and achieving sustainable development.
