Osoul Organization Delegation Meets Minister of Justice to Discuss National Tax Conference Preparations

A delegation from the Osoul Organization for Economic Development and Sustainable Growth, led by Mr. Khalid Al-Jaberi, met with H.E. Dr. Khalid Shawani, Minister of Justice. The meeting was attended by Mr. Haider Al-Omran, Chairman of the Baghdad Council for Digital Transformation and Electronic Payments, Mr. Rasti Yousif Hameed, Director General of the Enforcement Department, Ms. Ibtisam Rahim Abdallah Al-Saadi, Director General of the Real Estate Registration Directorate, and Ms. Huda Thamer, Head of the President’s Office at the Organization.

•  The discussion focused on the ongoing preparations for the First National Tax Conference, scheduled to take place on August 25, 2025, under the patronage of the Prime Minister, with high-level government participation, broad diplomatic representation, and the presence of international and local companies, as well as Iraqi private sector representatives.
• The meeting also addressed the importance of tax reform and comprehensive digital transformation in driving economic development, attracting investment, and supporting the national economy.
